Desciption of the robot:
The KUKA KR 150/180/210 S2000 family of robots is the update of one of the most popular industrial robot types. The lightweight arm is of a single sided design that gives an improved work envelope. The KUKA KR 150/180/210 range are multi-purpose 6 axis robots and can be used in a wide range of applications, from palletizing to milling, welding, de-burring and machine tending. The arm is largely constructed of aluminum. This means it is fast and energy efficient. The base of the robot has forklift points built in. The arm is sealed to IP65. The S2000 uses a mechanical balance spring that is simpler and lower maintenance than a gas spring. The arm has been designed to allow easy servicing and better routing of cables.
