IRS Robot Training

Are you already an IRS customer, or will you be one soon? Great! We offer robot training to expand your skills.

During a personal 1-on-1 session, you can spar directly with one of our IRS robot engineers. These hands-on training sessions include general knowledge about robots, robot programming, and practical implementation. No boring stories, but rather a dynamic experience with personal attention. In other words, learn directly from an expert!

Training is usually tailored to your specific robot, situation, and application. This means we can skip unnecessary information and focus on the topics that are important to you. You have the choice to follow the training at IRS Robotics in Weert or, if desired, at your own location (in consultation).

What are the costs?

What makes our IRS training unique is that the cost is based on the time required. We start by assessing your current level of knowledge. Then we tailor the training accordingly. This saves focus, time, and money. We usually offer a 1-day Basic Training. If further expansion is desired, we will continue.

Although you will certainly not become an expert Robot Engineer after this training, you will get a clear overview of the machine, your situation, and the various possibilities for further deepening and growth. After the training, you will always receive a unique numbered and personalized Certificate as proof of participation.

How do we proceed?

In consultation with your company, the specific goal of the training is determined and your staff will work together with one of our lead robot engineers. The manufacturer’s manual is of course always the guiding principle of the training and by means of a theoretical basis and linked practical exercises in our workshop, the subject matter is covered in practice.

Basic Training versus Advanced Training

One of the main goals of basic training is for you or your staff to become more familiar with the robot. With that goal in mind, a foundation is laid to further master robotics. Furthermore, consider being able to give feedback in case of a malfunction (what is going on / what could be going on?). Better yet: you can fix the malfunction on your own. This is enormously cost-saving.

The advanced trainings cover in depth the topics discussed in the basic training. You indicate in which subject the deepening is desired. Think for example of optimizing and/or integrating a robot into a machine.

How hard is this really?

This is a frequently asked question. You can make the training sessions as long or short as necessary or desired, nor do you need to know everything about the robot. Only what you deem necessary. The degree of effectiveness (the speed of processing the training) of course depends on whether or not you have prior knowledge of robotics or related knowledge.

The trainings always include lunch and after the training, you will always receive a unique numbered and personalized Certificate as proof of participation.
