Description of the robot:
The KUKA KR 150/180/210 S2000 robot family is the update of one of the most popular industrial robot types. The lightweight arm has a single-sided design which increases the working range. The KUKA KR 150/180/210 series are multifunctional 6-axis robots and can be used in a wide range of applications, from palletizing to milling, welding, deburring and machine loading. The arm is mostly made of aluminum. This means it is fast and energy efficient. Forklift points are built into the base of the robot. The arm is IP65 sealed. The S2000 uses a mechanical balance spring that is simpler and easier to maintain than a gas spring. The arm is designed for easy maintenance and better cable routing.
