IRS Robotics is fully specialized and focussed at industrial robots!

We are able to supply the following robot activities and robot services

• Full refurbishment of used (2^nd hand, pre-owned, experienced) robots. Mainly ABB and Fanuc but also Yaskawa, Misubishi, Kawasaki.
• Professional painting of the robot and controller. Also custom painting (e.g. your desired colour)
• Delivery and assembly of all required Safety pictograms (stickers)
• Custom print (e.g. your logo)
• Realization of robot grippers
• Robot maintenance and service
• Robot and controller reparation
• Test location (Test Bench) including test weights, calibration equipment, external control panel, light screens etc.
• Reparation and testing of robot components (cabling, TPU’s, boars, cards, joy sticks etc)

At IRS Robotics we always have a minimum stock of several types of robots!

 

If a used (pre-owned, 2nd hand, experienced) robot enters the IRS Robotics workshop, we always do a first rough check immediately. We want to know the status of the robot a.s.a.p. so we know what has to be done refurbish it. An inventory will be done and we do a check by means of internal procedures and check-lists.

An used robot is coming in at IRS Robotics. It will be roughly checked immediately.

 

After that, the robot and controller will be cleaned and will be installated at our Test Bech. We attach the right weights onto the head of the robot. After going through and implementation of our internal checklists, the robot and controller will be refurbished. Robot, controller, TPU and all concerning parts will be serviced (e.g. new batteries, new filters, new –correct!- oils etc.) and calibrated. Of course we can provide your robot with customer connections or extra options like compressed air, I/O cabling, extra board and gripper.

Cleaning and servicing a controller is a precise and punctual job.

  

Servicing controller and robot needs to be done with attention conforming manual and internal checklists and procedures.

 

We only use the exact and precise type of oils that are determined in the manuals of the specific robot.   

 

The robot needs to be calibrated again. We have special tools to do so.

 

IRS Robotics has custom made weights to attach to the flange of the head of the robot. We get a real test of the full load status of the robot this way.

 

 

After servicing and testing again, the robot and/or controller will be painted (sprayed) in your desired colour. Orange, grey, yellow, green, blue…all RAL colours are possible. Standard we paint the original colour of the original robot. After the paint job, we apply all required Safety Pictograms (stickers), we apply your possible custom signs and we add the manual and CE Declaration of Conformity.

It is possible to deliver the robot in a custom RAL colour. We can also apply your custom signs or logo.

 

Nevertheless, before a refurbished used robot leaves or workshop we do an extra test at our Test Bench. After that the robot and controller is fully refurbished and subjected to a durability test with appropriate weights. Tested, refurbished, serviced, painted, Safety Pictograms and of course with manual and CE Declaration.

This final check at our Test Bench is your and our guarantee that all functionalities of the robot are as they were and should be. Still an unexpected shortage? It happens rarely or never but our component warranty will be your extra satisfaction.

 

After that, we can implement transportation. We are able to wrap up the robot and controller with special (thick) shrink-wrapping to avoid any risk for paint damage during transportation. A serviceable and useful extra if the robots would have a long journey ahead or several trans-shipment zones would occur.

We can service a shrink-wrapping of robot and cabinet to protect it during transportation.
